Colorado (13-2) needed 29 games to earn 26 points in last year's lockout shortened season.

He revealed specifics about the issue Thursday night after scoring 18 points to help the Miami Heat top the Los Angeles Clippers, 102-97.

Tiger Woods shot a 9-under 63 Friday to trim a six-shot deficit to one after the second round of the Turkish Open. Woods completed seven holes of his rain-delayed first round for a 70 on Friday morning. It left Woods in fifth place on 11 under, just a shot behind the leading foursome of Sweden's Henrik Stenson (68), England's Ian Poulter (66), Frenchman Victor Dubuisson (65) and South African Justin Walters (66). But I am right there, and I am only one back.'' Woods, who last won on the European Tour at the co-sanctioned 2009 Australian Masters, said he missed four or five putts within 10 feet for birdie.

In Kevin Dineen's first season with the Florida Panthers the team won its first division title and ended a playoff skid that had lasted more than a decade. A year and a half removed from one of the franchise's highest points, Dineen was fired. The Panthers dismissed him Friday, with the team off to a start that mirrored last season when Florida finished at the bottom of the NHL. The move comes one day after a 4-1 loss at Boston extended the Panthers' losing streak to seven games and left them 14th in the 16-team Eastern Conference.

Jonathan Martin's new attorney says harassment of the Miami Dolphins tackle came from more than one teammate. The abuse went far beyond the traditional locker room hazing, including a malicious physical attack and daily vulgar comments, attorney David Cornwell said Thursday. He was hired this week to represent Martin, who left the Dolphins last week. His agent then complained to the Dolphins that Martin had been harassed, and they suspended guard Richie Incognito.

Baylor (8-0, 5-0 Big 12) scored twice in the final minute before halftime and stretched its school-record winning streak to 12 games since a loss at Oklahoma last November. The Bears are 8-0 for the first time. ''It's a very special team.'' Even though Baylor came in leading the nation in scoring (64 points per game) and total offense (718 yards per game) - and was outscoring opponents by an average margin of 48 points - many questioned how good the Bears were after getting into November without playing a ranked opponent.
